To ensure the performance of the power distribution cabinet under various operating conditions, its protection level is a crucial indicator. Different protection levels correspond to different testing methods. Take IP65 as an example: the number "6" indicates the dustproof level, and "5" indicates the waterproof level. Today, we will explain the pre-delivery IP65 waterproof level test for Shouke Yuantuo's power distribution cabinets.

After the cabinet is assembled, it will be handed over to the quality inspection personnel. The cabinet is placed in an outdoor open-air environment, and a dedicated water spraying test device is adopted, with a nozzle diameter of 6.3 mm. The spraying distance is maintained between 2.5 m and 3 m, and the water flow rate during the test is kept within the range of 11.875 L/min to 13.125 L/min. The water spraying duration per square meter of the cabinet surface shall not be less than 10 minutes.

Upon completion of the entire test process, the quality inspection personnel will open the cabinet to check its interior. If necessary, they will also remove the side panels or back panels to better observe whether water has entered the cabinet shell. If there are no traces of water ingress inside the shell, the power distribution cabinet is judged to meet the IP65 waterproof level requirements.
