SKYT specializes in the development and manufacture of Double-Door Floor-Standing Stainless Steel Power Distribution Cabinet. We provide enclosure customization, technical support and after-sales service for projects requiring durable construction and protection in demanding outdoor environments.
The Double-Door Floor-Standing Stainless Steel Power Distribution Cabinet is designed for outdoor electrical installations where corrosion resistance, weather protection and convenient access to internal components are required.
The cabinet is designed for demanding outdoor conditions, including coastal environments where corrosion resistance and enclosure protection are important. Its overall dimensions are 1600 mm (H) × 610 mm (W) × 444.5 mm (D), providing sufficient internal space for electrical components and control equipment.
The cabinet body is manufactured from 12-gauge 304 stainless steel, approximately 2.66 mm thick, with a brushed finish. The stainless steel construction provides corrosion resistance for demanding outdoor applications. A rotating secondary door made from 12-gauge carbon steel is installed inside the main enclosure. The inner door features a white powder-coated finish for surface protection and a clean appearance. Pre-cut openings are provided on the secondary door and cabinet side panels. Four bushing studs facilitate component installation and wiring while helping reduce additional machining during installation.
The Double-Door Floor-Standing Stainless Steel Power Distribution Cabinet is equipped with components designed for outdoor service conditions. A self-expanding PU foam gasket helps maintain a tight seal when the cabinet is properly closed, reducing the ingress of rainwater, moisture and dust. A full-length welded continuous piano hinge is installed on the left side of the cabinet, providing stable door support and smooth opening and closing during inspection and maintenance. The locking assembly includes latches, padlock hasps and lock eyes to support controlled access and on-site security requirements. A door stay bracket and two removable lifting lugs are provided to support door positioning, lifting, transportation and field maintenance.vided to support door positioning, lifting, transportation and field maintenance.
The cabinet is designed and manufactured for NEMA 4X applications and is available with applicable UL certification according to the specified configuration and project requirements. The cabinet is particularly suitable for coastal and other demanding outdoor environments. High humidity, salt-laden air and other environmental contaminants can accelerate corrosion and affect exposed electrical equipment. The 304 stainless steel enclosure and double-door configuration provide additional protection for internal electrical components against moisture and outdoor contaminants.
Typical applications include outdoor power distribution and control, field instrument protection, communication facilities, coastal engineering projects and outdoor electrical installations in industrial plants. The enclosure provides a protected housing for electrical components used in demanding outdoor environments and can help reduce maintenance requirements associated with moisture and corrosion exposure.
SKYT can customize cutout positions and accessory configurations according to customer drawings and project requirements. This allows the cabinet to accommodate different electrical layouts and component arrangements.
Each Double-Door Floor-Standing Stainless Steel Power Distribution Cabinet undergoes factory inspection of enclosure construction, sealing and structural integrity before shipment. Applicable protection or certification requirements can be verified according to the specified product configuration.
SKYT also provides pre-sales technical consultation, project document review and installation guidance. Spare parts and maintenance consultation are available after delivery. From drawing review and configuration confirmation to production and shipment, SKYT maintains communication with customers throughout the order process to support project coordination and installation planning.
